CSE Appoints Adam Conyers as Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer
Richard Carleton, CEO of the Canadian Securities Exchange (“CSE”), is pleased to announce the appointment of Adam Conyers as Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of the CSE. Bob Medland, who held this role from the inception of the company, retired at the end of 2015. Mr. Conyers has over 20 years of experience in senior financial and management roles with companies in the financial, technology and telecom industries and has been involved with the CSE since its earliest days, including over 10 years as a Director and member of the Audit Committee. Mr. Carleton commented: “Adam brings a unique perspective to the role given his background in the Canadian capital markets with exchange operators as well as early stage companies. I am personally thrilled to be working with him again as we look to accelerate our growth and position the CSE as the exchange for entrepreneurs. I, and the CSE team, also wish Bob well on his retirement”. Mr. Conyers is a CPA, holds his ICD.D designation and has a BComm from the University of Toronto.
